More Love, Less Hate!

Hi Everyone!

I have decided to join a bunch of sweet and talented ladies in the Facebook group Rainbow Pride Nails for Orlando and show my support for Orlando after the terrible tragedy of last weekend. It was such a devastating and senseless attack that affected far too many innocent people and I am left at a loss for words as I struggle to comprehend how anyone can commit such a horrific act of violence. My heart breaks for all the lives lost and for the loved ones left to carry on. It is heartwarming to see people from all over the world join in support and I'm glad to show my support today as well...

For the manicure, I chose to use five Glam Polish shades because Rachel, the creator of this brand, is the very sweet and kindhearted woman who started the Facebook group and brought so many nail polish enthusiasts together. Currently there are over 400 members and I encourage you to join and show your support as well!

The five lacquers that I chose to use are Timeless to Me (red), You and Me (But Mostly Me) (gold), Nicest Kids in Town (green), CRASH! (blue), and Without Love (purple).

To create the gradient, I used the nail polish brush to apply polish to roughly half of the nail and added the 2nd color right next to it using just the polish brush as well. While the polish was still wet, I used a small detail brush to gently blended the colors together in the middle. It is not the smoothest gradient, but because some of these polishes contain glitter, I wanted to avoid sponging them on. Hand blending them is my preferred method for these types of lacquers...

I hope you like this manicure and will check out the Facebook group Rainbow Pride Nails for Orlando and show your support as well!

Thanks for looking!
